Vysotsky: the Russian Federation caused losses to the agricultural sector of Ukraine to the tune of 11 billion dollars
A significant share of losses is due to the destruction or theft of agricultural machinery.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, the agricultural sector has suffered losses of more than 11 billion dollars. This was stated by acting Taras Vysotskyi, Minister of Agricultural Policy, “Ukrinform”writes.
A significant share of losses is caused by the destruction and theft of agricultural machinery. First of all, the grain elevator equipment was destroyed. A smaller, but also considerable share of the damage is caused by the destruction of perennial gardens.
Law enforcement officers document all cases in the International Register of Damages. This should oblige the aggressor country to cover all the damage caused to Ukraine.
