Warsaw is to host investment conference on concession at Chornomorsk port

The conference will be held to familiarize potential investors with the concession project.

In particular, the government’s vision for the development of the seaport industry will be presented to the investor community, the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine reports.

“Based on the results of the efficiency analysis, the Ministry of Development has decided to implement a public-private partnership in the form of a concession for the first and container terminals in the port of Chornomorsk and to prepare for the concession tender,” the report says.

In order to familiarize potential investors with the project, the Ministry, in cooperation with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), plans to hold an Investment Conference on April 24, 2025 in Warsaw, Poland.

In particular, representatives of the IFC, EBRD and consultants will provide detailed information on the concession project for the first and container terminals in the port of Chornomorsk and the main conditions and tender process (competitive dialogue).

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive clarifications.

As previously reported by USM, a working meeting on the concession was held in March of this year at the port of Chornomorsk.
