“We have changed the balance of power in the Black Sea,” said the Minister of Defense of Ukraine

During the year, more than 5,000 ships passed through the Ukrainian sea corridor, Ukrainian forces also destroyed 24 Russian ships and countered the fleet of the aggressor country.

Over the past year, thanks to long-range weapons, Ukrainian defenders managed to change the balance of power in the Black Sea, as well as create a “grain corridor” independent of Russia, through which more than 5,000 ships passed.

“Crimea is my home, and every day I, like millions of Ukrainians, feel pain from the Russian occupation for my state and for our people on the peninsula. Russia uses our land for missile attacks, turning the peninsula into a springboard for aggression against Ukraine. Therefore, Crimea is a key battlefield for our freedom. And we will not stop until we bring him home,” said the Minister of Defense of Ukraine.

According to him, the next step is security in the entire Black Sea region.

“Within the scope of strengthening naval capabilities, the Coalition of Naval Capabilities was signed with partners at the last Ramstein. This will provide us with additional support in protecting our internal waters and Ukraine’s interests in international maritime waters,” Rustem Umyerov emphasized.

It should be noted that the military also destroyed 24 Russian ships and regained control over Snake Island. Ukraine was the first in the world to implement the “swarm of drones” technology to counter the Russian fleet.
