Zelenskyy appointed former Minister of Infrastructure Kubrakov as his advisor

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appointed Oleksandr Kubrakov as his advisor on infrastructure and community relations.

Decree No. 66/2026 was published on the website of the President of Ukraine.

“To appoint Oleksandr Kubrakov as Advisor to the President of Ukraine on Infrastructure and Community Relations (part-time),” the document states.

It should be noted that on January 16, Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that he had met with Oleksandr Kubrakov. They discussed the energy situation in Ukrainian cities and communities, as well as prospects for cooperation with partners to strengthen the resilience and infrastructure development of Ukraine.

Recall that on May 9, 2024, the Parliament dismissed Oleksandr Kubrakov from the post of Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine – Minister of Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine.

In January 2025, the then Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov appointed Kubrakov as his advisor on a voluntary basis.
