Zelenskyy: the fleet of naval drones worked and had a “certain result”
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said that the Ukrainian know-how in creating a fleet of naval drones worked and had a “certain result”.
Zelenskyy noted this during a meeting with American entrepreneur, philanthropist and owner of The Atlantic magazine Lauren Powell Jobs, writes Ukrinform.
Zelensky informed the guests about the successful countermeasures against russian cyberattacks at the beginning of a full-scale war, as well as about the further involvement of Ukrainian inventors and IT specialists in the fight against invaders, in particular, in projects related to drones.
“We’ve created several technologies and they’ve worked on the battlefield. We have separate teams that are functioning. Such know-how as marine drones also worked for us. It was a separate story, and we had a certain result there,” Zelenskyy noted.
In 2022, Ukraine announced the creation of the world’s first fleet of 100 maritime drones. Donations are collected through the United24 fundraising platform.
