Zelenskyy: Ukraine is ready to help the US in unblocking the Strait of Hormuz

The President emphasized that the issue of the Strait of Hormuz is primarily dealt with by the United States, and Ukraine is ready to provide support if necessary.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that during his visit to the countries of the Middle East, he discussed potential support by Ukraine for unblocking the Strait of Hormuz.

“We raised this issue because it is painful for the whole world, because there is an energy crisis. They know that they can count on our expertise in this area. We talked about it in detail, we shared the experience of the Black Sea corridor, how it functions,” he emphasized.

The Head of State added that the interlocutors understood that the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to effectively unblock the trade route in the Black Sea.

“Regarding Hormuz. In my opinion, the United States of America is dealing with this. We are, of course, always ready to help partners,” the President emphasized.
