ZIM shipping company returns to Ukraine

ZIM shipping company is resuming the LBX service — currently the only direct Ukraine-Israel container service on the market.

The first event is ZIM Australia (AU6) 221 (December 2, Pivdenny port), AMEU reported.

Key features of the service:

• direct connection Haifa → Pivdenny with a transit time of six days;

• fast connection to the ZIM global network: Far East, Atlantic, North and South America;

• a wide range of cargo: reefers, oils, timber, grain, food products, used cars and other categories.

This is another step towards the restoration of sustainable maritime communication in Ukraine, as well as an important signal for the entire market, AMEU noted.
