The ports of Izmail, Reni and Ust-Dunaisk received 809 million net profit last year

Ukrainian ports on the Danube — Izmail, Reni and Ust-Dunaysk — in 2022 received 809 million net profit in total.

• SE “Izmail Sea Trade Port” received 1.45 billion turnover and 450 million net profit, according to the State Statistics Service.

• SE “Reniya Sea Trade Port” received UAH 542 million in turnover and UAH 356 million in net profit.

• SE “Sea Trade Port Ust-Dunaisk” received 25.42 million turnover and 3.19 million net profit.

It is worth noting that last year the Danube ports demonstrated record transshipment figures.

Port Reni exceeded its own figures by 5 times in cargo handling volumes. According to the results of the year, 6.82 million tons were handled in the port – against 1.37 in 2021. Port Izmail – doubled: in 2022 – 8.89 million tons, against 4 million tons a year earlier. Ust-Dunaisk — 785 thousand tons, against 64 thousand tons in 2021.

It should be noted that precisely because of the blockade of the “big” ports by russian federation, the Ukrainian ports on the Danube were able to activate and even equalize the actual cargo traffic with the passport traffic. Previously, USM reported how the year of war turned out for the Danube ports, and what Izmail, Reni and Ust-Danuisk should expect this year.
