Odesa will receive equipment for the elimination of pollution in the Black Sea
The European Maritime Safety Agency will provide the Odesa branch of SE “USPA” with specialized equipment for the localization and elimination of pollution in the Black Sea.
Representatives of the Odesa branch took part in training from leading developers of environmental protection equipment for pollution elimination, the press service of USPA reported.
“During the training, European colleagues demonstrated the rules for using skimmers and V-shaped systems for collecting pollutants. In the future, this knowledge will make it possible to effectively use the equipment that will be provided by the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) for high-quality elimination of pollution in the Black Sea,” the press service said.
AMPU also reminded that the Agreement on the free transfer of specialized equipment for the elimination of pollution in the water areas of seaports of Ukraine was concluded in March 2023.
