The Ukrainian office of Maersk will develop logistics in Odesa region

The Regional Development Agency of the Odesa Region and Maersk Ukraine LTD LLC signed a memorandum of cooperation. The partnership is aimed at socio-economic development of the region.
“Maersk Ukraine LTD” has represented the interests of the world leader in container transportation Maersk in Ukraine and Moldova for the past 30 years. Today, it continues its activities in Ukraine and constantly improves options for delivering goods in containers for Ukrainian importers and exporters in difficult conditions caused by Russian aggression. Maersk is a Danish company that was one of the first to curtail its activities in Russia and Belarus at the very beginning of the invasion,” the Agency for Regional Development of the Odesa Region noted.
The Agency added that Odesa region is a key transport hub in the south of Ukraine through which international transport corridors pass.
“The development of logistics in the Odesa region is a high priority for the Regional Development Agency and Maersk Ukraine LTD.” The partnership between our organizations will improve the business climate in the region and accelerate the development of infrastructure for freight transportation,” the Agency noted.
