The crew got in touch and told about the “attack of armed people”. Russian media learned about this from the wife of the ship’s captain, Nadezhda Rasina.
According to her, the yachtsmen said that they were attacked by armed men with a machine gun in the territorial waters of Yemen, they “received several bullets on board”, but were able to hide in the territorial waters of Eritrea.
It will be recalled that the cruise ship “30 minutes” went to sea on April 17 and went to Djibouti in East Africa. On the same day, the yacht anchored near Roumain Island and disappeared from radar, Russian diplomats found out from the owner of the vessel.
