“Ukrnafta” will supply fuel to farmers, in particular, “Kernel”

Ukrnafta PJSC will supply fuel to producers of agricultural products.

“We signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Kernel, one of the key agricultural companies of Ukraine. Together with our new partner, we agreed on the volumes of supply within the framework of annual agreements and fixed the formula pricing based on international quotations,” Ukrnafta director Serhiy Koretskyi said on Facebook.

As Koretsky notes, the document also provides for the development of spot purchases of fuel. That is, if Kernel demand exceeds the volume of long-term agreements, Ukrnafta is ready to increase the supply of light oil products on mutually beneficial terms.

“Agriculture and the processing industry are the largest Ukrainian exporters, whose smooth operation is important for Ukraine’s macroeconomic stability. In addition, ensuring reliable long-term supplies of fuel for the agricultural industry is our contribution to the food security of the country and the world,” Koretsky concluded.
