“Nibulon” exported the first million agricultural products through the “Bessarabska” branch
The Bessarabska branch of the Nibulon company has shipped more than 1 million tons of grain since its launch in October 2022.
“Bessarabska” is the youngest branch of “Nibulon”, which is implemented in the city of Izmail on the Danube River. As noted in the company, now the branch shows a gradual increase in indicators. From January to May 2022, exports increased by 44% from 100,000 tons to about 190,000 tons per month. The branch plans to make 200,000 tons already in June.
In “Nibulon” it was noted that the growth of exports becomes possible thanks to planned investments, which should reach up to $50 million. The investments are aimed both at the formation of significant storage capacities of the branch, and at the processing of grains into flour for the further export of products with added value.
“This is very important for the Danube region, where there are no storage and accumulation containers, which significantly worsens unloading,” the company says.
After the implementation of the investment project, the branch will be able to ship up to 60 wagons of grain per day.
“For the continuation of the development of the infrastructure of the Bessarabska branch, it is currently critically important to receive a positive decision of the Interdepartmental Coordination Council on the implementation of the Convention on Environmental Impact Assessment in a Transboundary Context in Ukraine. We hope that the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine will soon consider the issue of the Bessarabska branch as an object that has successfully passed the cross-border environmental impact assessment according to the procedure of the concerned state — Romania,” Nibulon noted.
