The number of wagons in the direction of the western borders decreased by four
Less than 10,000 wagons go to the western border crossings. Last June, the number of wagons exceeded 42,000 units.
As of June 14, only 9,002 wagons left for the western border crossings of Ukraine. At the same time, the queue was shortened by 1,763 cars. Among them, 1,091 grain trucks are 336 units less than as of May 31. This was discussed during a meeting of representatives of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” and agricultural carriers, writes Rail.insider.
A year ago, as of June 16, 2022, the number of wagons heading to the western border crossings exceeded 42,000 units.
The largest number of wagons with grain are headed to the border crossing with Poland Izów – Hrubeszów (243 units), to the crossing with Romania Vadul-Siret – Dornesti 217 units. 169 wagons go to the Slovak crossing Chop – Chierna nad Tisou. Another 141 cars each move to the Dyakovo-Halmeu (Romania) and Mostysk II – Medyka (Poland) crossings.
