Zelenskyy on exports: We are preparing for any development
On Monday, July 24, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting on the export of agricultural products.
“Meeting regarding the export of our agricultural products. We believe in the agreement with the European Commission, but we are preparing for any development,” says the President’s page.
Zelenskyy added that Ukraine’s position is clear: blocking exports by land after September 15, when the relevant restrictions cease to apply, is inadmissible in any way.
Therefore, the government is in contact with all interested parties to find a solution that will suit everyone, the President noted.
In addition, Zelenskyy held a meeting of the Headquarters of the Commander-in-Chief, at which, in particular, the unblocking of the Black Sea and the “grain corridor” were discussed.
We will remind you that in May 2023, the European Commission banned the import of wheat, corn, rapeseed and sunflower from Ukraine to Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Romania. On June 5, the ban was extended until September 15, 2023. Poland suspended the transit of Ukrainian agricultural products through its territory, but resumed it on April 21.
