More than 300 wagons pass through the western borders every day
More than 300 wagons with about 200,000 grains pass through the western Ukrainian borders.
During the last week, the transfer of grain through the western border crossings exceeded 300 wagons per day. Thus, the number of grain trucks increased by 23 units, the deputy director of the Department of Commercial Work of UZ Valery Tkachev reported, Rail.insider reports.
Currently, 308 grain wagons are transshipped daily through the western border crossings. A week ago, the figure was 285 wagons.
In particular, 81 wagons with grain are transshipped through Polish crossings every day. Over the last week, the rate of transshipment increased by 14.5 cars per day, or by 21.8%.
At the same time, about 85.5 wagons with grain are transferred through contacts with Romania. This is 10 cars per day more than a week ago, or 13.3%.
At the same time, the rate of transshipment through Slovak crossings increased the most — 86.9 grain trucks in comparison. Over the last week, the indicator increased by +18.9 cars per day, or 27.8%.
On the contrary, the number of overloaded wagons on the border with Hungary decreased by 20.6 wagons per day, or by 27.3%. Thus, relatively only 54.8 wagons with grain pass through Hungarian crossings.
