Ukraine sent more than 50% of grain to land border crossings in August.

Last month, 1.19 million tons of grain were loaded into wagons — 9.2% more than a month earlier, Rail.insider. reports.

Corn was sent the most — its share in the grain load structure was 36%.

Sunflower seeds, wheat, barley, soybean seeds, malt in grain, and pea grain were also loaded into wagons.

Regarding grain loading by destination, more than 50% of the total volume was sent to land border crossings.

Grain was loaded into wagons of three types. Grain carriers made up the largest share.
