Graduation of seamen in “Diya”: Ukrainians have already submitted more than 1,000 applications

During the first two weeks of the existence of seafarer certification services at “Diya”, Ukrainian specialists submitted more than 1,000 applications through the portal.
More than 900 seafarers used the confirmation service, the rest — advanced training, the Ministry of Reconstruction reported.
Almost 500 sailors applied for the internationally recognized CES 6.0 test.
“We are gradually introducing new opportunities for Ukrainian sailors, digitizing processes, bringing them to international standards, and most importantly, we have removed the corruption component. We gave the community what they needed – to issue the necessary documents remotely, quickly, conveniently and without bribes. Through “Diya”, every sailor has been given the opportunity to be promoted, get a rank, and also apply for the exam online. I can assure you that the list of titles will be expanded,” said Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov.
Every Ukrainian seafarer has the opportunity to issue qualification documents even on the voyage, and after returning — to get the original at the Shipping Administration in Kyiv and Odesa, in person or through a representative.
How can a sailor get documents in “Diya”?
• the seafarer submits an application on the Diya portal and signs it with an electronic signature;
• documents are considered by the State Qualification Commission for Seafarers;
• the result of the application review will appear in your personal account and email. to the post office – a positive decision to issue a document or a reasoned refusal;
• the electronic image of the document signed by the authorized person will also appear in the user’s personal account on the “Diya” portal.
There are currently 14 ranks available for Diya users to assign or promote, while 4 are in testing and will soon be available to a wide range of users.
