AMCU inspects the scope of services for Ukrainian seafarers

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine is conducting an audit of compliance with the legislation on the protection of economic competition in the field of services for seafarers.

This was reported by the Shipping Administration.

The focus of the AMCU’s attention is on the issuance of seafarer identity cards and mandatory training in training institutions.

To assess the situation, the Committee is collecting information directly from seafarers and conducting an appropriate survey.

The Shipping Administration called on seafarers to join in and report on their own experience of receiving such services.
