Bloomberg: World wheat prices fell after the ship left Ukraine

The ship with Ukrainian grain, which left the port of Chornomorsk for the first time after Russia’s withdrawal from the Grain Agreement, affected world wheat prices.

Wheat futures fell 1.3% to $5.84 per bushel on September 19. At the same time, it is still too early to talk about the significant impact of the opening of the temporary corridor, writes Bloomberg.

We will remind you that the ship Resilient Africa became the first bulk carrier to enter the port of Chornomorsk last week along the temporary corridor for civilian ships established by the Navy of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

As previously reported by USM, 3,000 tons of Ukrainian wheat were loaded onto the ship.
