According to Spike Brokers, the limited supply of fleets to transport grain through the alternative sea corridor is supporting high ocean freight rates.
“Indications for the freight of “handy” grain from the Black Sea to Spain still remain at the level of $60-65 per ton,” Spike Brokers said.

At the same time, river freight has currently stabilized and is subject to reduction due to more active shipments via an alternative sea corridor.
