The Hussites seized a ship in the Red Sea: there may be Ukrainians on board

The Yemeni Houthis said they allegedly captured the Israeli ship Galaxy Leader in the Red Sea.
According to open sources, the ship under the flag of the Bahamas belongs to the British company Ray Car Carriers. The emblem of the largest Japanese shipping company NYK Line is on board, Al Arabiya reports.
The Israel Defense Forces said Galaxy Leader had no connection to the country. Also, there are no Israelis on the ferry.
Also, the Prime Minister’s administration said that there were 25 sailors on the ship, not 22, as stated in the Houthis’ message.
These are citizens of Ukraine, Bulgaria, the Philippines and Mexico.
The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Nikolenko stated that the department has already instructed the involved Ukrainian embassies to verify this information, as well as contact the owner company to find out the exact composition of the ship’s crew and other details.
