ARMA failed to sell nine vessels in Izmail due to lack of bidders

The auction for the sale of nine arrested vessels located in Izmail, Odessa region, did not take place due to the lack of participants.
This is evidenced by the data of “Prozorro.Sales”. The auction was supposed to take place on October 8, but the system recorded them as not taking place. The starting price of the lot was UAH 151.66 million excluding VAT.
Nine vessels were put up for sale in one lot: RONDO, SVIR, AVANGARD, VOLGOBALT-225, VOLGOBALT-193, VOLGOBALT-244, OMSKYI-6, NAVIGER-2 and OMSKYI-132. All of them are actually located in Izmail.
The lot included eight dry cargo ships and one oil tanker built in 1970–1988. The technical condition of most vessels is assessed as unsatisfactory due to prolonged downtime, and some of them were damaged as a result of Russian attacks.
The lot was put up for sale for the first time. In addition to the purchase price, the potential buyer had to pay about UAH 58.4 million in customs duties and independently cover possible costs for repairs, maintenance, parking and further registration of the vessels.
Earlier, ARMA put up for auction nine arrested vessels located in Izmail.
