Ukrainian supplies compile 40% of the transshipment volume at the port of Constanta

The Romanian port of Constanta shipped a record 29.4 million tons of grain in the first 10 months.

It is worth noting that Ukrainian supplies accounted for 40% of the total volume, writes Reuters.

Ukraine, for which Constanta is the largest alternative export route, shipped 11.7 million tons of grain during January-October. For comparison: for the whole of 2022, 8.6 million Ukrainian products passed through the port.

Overall, Constanta’s previous all-time high was just over 25 million tonnes.
