Due to difficult weather conditions in the ports of Great Odesa, cargo handling is complicated.
There are difficulties with cargo handling in the seaports of Odesa. This was stated by Valery Tkachov, deputy director of the commercial work department of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”, reports Rail.insider.
Thus, in the port of Odesa, the terminal territory is being cleared, and the restoration of power supply is expected.
In the port of Chornomorsk, unloading is complicated due to power outages and weather conditions, but cargo processing continues.
Cargo is also processed in the Pivdennyi port. There, driveways and areas are cleaned. There are power outages.
In the port of Izmail, processing was resumed, but the delivery of cargo was complicated.
During the week, the rate of unloading of wagons with grain in the ports of Greater Odessa fluctuates in the range of 800–950 units. The average daily unloading volume is 856 wagons per day.
At the same time, the number of wagons with grain heading to the ports decreased by 88 units compared to last week – up to 5,249 wagons.
