Humenyuk: the Russian Federation can use a new drone on civilian vessels

The Russian Federation may use its new “Dandelion” kamikaze drone for attacks on civilian shipping in the Black Sea.

Nataliya Humenyuk, spokeswoman for the United Coordination Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces, said this on the air of the telethon.

So, recently, the Russian Federation showed a new controlled unmanned surface kamikaze drone called “Dandelion”.

“Understanding that we are dealing with a terrorist country, it cannot be ruled out that such drones will also be used against civilian ships. Moreover, there have been repeated statements about the fact that if shipping with Ukrainian ports will continue, they will be perceived as legitimate military targets,” the spokeswoman said.

We will remind you that the “Dandelion” marine drone is manufactured by Russian industry. The first batch is said to consist of 10 naval kamikaze drones. They should be built by the end of 2023.
