The blockade of the border with Poland is suspended until March 1
The Ministry of Infrastructure of Poland signed an agreement with the organizers of the blockade of checkpoints on the Polish-Ukrainian border. The protests will be suspended until March 1.
This was stated by the Minister of Infrastructure of Poland, Dariusz Klimczak, during a press conference in Warsaw, writes Ukrinform.
“We signed an agreement, the result of which is the termination of the protest at automobile checkpoints in three settlements – Korchova, Grebenne, Dorogusk,” Klimchak noted.
The agreement, which consists of seven points, will be valid until March 1. During this time, the Polish government undertakes to solve the problems of carriers.
The Minister of Infrastructure of Poland added that the agreement is the result of constructive cooperation with carriers, intensive cooperation with Ukraine and the EU over the past month.
He emphasized that the protest is suspended until March 1, but this does not mean the end of the dialogue, but the beginning of very intensive constructive negotiations, which will give a concrete result – the implementation of the provisions of the agreement.
