Ukrainian sailors have already received more than 2,000 service records by mail
In three months, sailors from Ukraine received more than 2,000 service records remotely – by mail.
The information was made public by the head of the Shipping Administration Yevhenii Ignatenko.
He also reminded what documents need to be prepared to receive Seaman Service Record by mail:
• the original of the application for issuance of Seaman Service Record;
• a copy of the passport of a citizen of Ukraine;
• a copy of the seafarer’s identity card (if available);
• a copy of a diploma or certificate confirming qualifications (working documents) or a document confirming the receipt of maritime education;
• guarantee letter about payment for delivery services;
• two 3×4 cm photo cards.
It is also necessary to pay UAH 245.28 for the service record form. Note that all copies of documents must be certified by the seafarer, and statements must be handwritten and submitted in original.
As previously reported by USM, the Shipping Administration reported on the results of work in 2023 and plans for the next year. Yes, last year more than 20,000 crew members were graduated.
