Russia wants to increase the grain export quota

Currently, the approved quota for Russian grain is 24 million tons.
The Russian Ministry of Agriculture plans to increase the grain export quota in 2024. This is reported by Latifundist.
The agency proposes to introduce a separate quota for the export of wheat, meslin, rye, barley and corn in the amount of 4 million tons. The corresponding decision will be valid until June 30.
It will be recalled that in January the cargo turnover of Russian ports decreased by 6.2%.
Recently, USM wrote that the captain of a Russian vessel was informed of suspicion due to the illegal transportation of looted grain from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
