Transshipment of wagons with grain at the port of Izmail increased by 1.5 times


The average daily rate of unloading of wagons with grain at the port of Izmail is currently 123 wagons per day.

During this month, the indicator increased by 41 wagons per day, or 1.5 times. Such data was made public by the deputy director of the department of commercial work of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” Valerii Tkachev.

During February, the queue of wagons with grain in the direction of the port of Izmail decreased by 38 units — from 495 to 457 wagons.

A reduction in the queue of wagons with grain is also observed in the direction of the ports of Great Odesa. Thus, the accumulation of them in February decreased by 609 units, to 7140 wagons.

Throughout February, the rate of daily unloading of wagons with grain in the ports of Greater Odessa fluctuates in the range of 1,000–1,540 wagons per day. The average daily volume is currently 1,363 wagons per day. In February, the indicator increased by 88 units per day.

We will remind, at the end of January, the accumulation of grain trucks in the direction of the port of Izmail increased by 60%.
