Almost 27 million tons of goods were exported through the maritime corridor
Ukraine plans to reach the level of sea exports in 2021.
“Despite systemic air attacks, the Ukrainian corridor — the temporary Black Sea corridor — is working and increasing its effectiveness. Since the beginning of its work in August, almost 27 million tons of cargo have been shipped, 70% of which are Ukrainian agricultural products,” said Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov during a meeting with representatives of the European Affairs Committee of the Danish Parliament.
According to him, now the main goal is to reach stable indicators at the level of 2021. The results of the last months already confirm that this is an achievable goal.

In particular, in January, thanks to the work of the Ukrainian maritime corridor, tax revenues increased by almost a quarter compared to the planned ones. This is the first time since the full-scale invasion.
He also added that the maritime industry is one of the areas of cooperation between Ukraine and Denmark.
Currently, the parties are considering the renewal of cooperation on the construction of multi-purpose vessels for the Navy and the search and rescue service.
As previously reported by USM, 2.6 million tons of agricultural products were exported through the ports of Great Odesa in the first half of February.
