Shelling of Odesa ports led to downtime in the work of Ukrzaliznytsia
Due to air alarms in the Odesa region, the losses of shippers amount to approximately five days of unloading.
This was reported by Valery Tkachov, deputy director of the commercial work department of Ukrzaliznytsia, Interfax-Ukraine writes. According to him, if you multiply this number by the volume of average daily unloading, you can see that the losses amount to about 7,000 wagons.
In addition, interruptions in the operation of the ports of Greater Odessa led to an increase in the accumulation of wagons by 6.9 times – to 8,772 units.

Tkachev also reported that over the past week, the average daily volume of grain unloading in Odesa ports has decreased by 41 cars, to 1,408 units. day.
Unloading of grain in the Danube ports also decreased: by seven wagons to 102 units. day. At the same time, the queue in this direction decreased to 511 out of 658 wagons with grain.
Previously, USM wrote that in the ports of Great Odesa there are difficulties with unloading grain from wagons.
