ARMA chose the realtor of Viktor Medvedchuk’s the yacht


The Agency for Search and Asset Management (ARMA) identified the future seller of the arrested yacht Viktor Medvedchuk.

The Commission for Competitive Selection of Legal Entities Selling Seized Assets has chosen Troostwijk Auctions as the seller of the yacht, Ukrinform reports.

The commission made the relevant decision during the meeting on Tuesday, April 23.

“According to the results of the commission meeting, the company Troostwijk Auctions from the Netherlands was determined as the winner of the competition of legal entities that implement the sale of seized assets, for the organization of the sale of the seized asset on electronic auctions and the implementation of measures necessary for the sale of the asset – the property of the non-resident legal entity Lanelia Holdings Ltd., and namely, the “Royal Romance” 2015 yacht, International Maritime Organization number 1012268,” commented ARMA Deputy Chairman for European Integration, Commission Chairman Grigol Katamadze.

ARMA must now receive an offer from Troostwijk Auctions to enter into a relevant contract within five working days.

If the company refuses to provide services under the contract, or in the event of other obstacles, the sale of the yacht will be entrusted to the participant who took second place in the competition by the sum of points – the auction house Boathouse Auctions (USA).

Troostwijk Auctions was established in 2015. He specializes in the sale of yachts and other equipment. Every year, Troostwijk Auctions auctions about 120 million lots.

USM previously reported that three global auction houses expressed interest in selling the seized “Royal Romance” yacht.
