Ukraine exported 50 million tons of goods through the sea corridor in 9 months

Since August 16, 2023, Ukrainian ports on the Black Sea have exported 50 million tons of cargo.

As the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority noted, during this period it was possible to process 1,737 vessels.

“Starting with the first vessel Joseph Shulte, which left the Ukrainian corridor on August 16, 2023, Ukrainian Black Sea ports processed this record volume of cargo – despite constant enemy attacks on our critical infrastructure,” AMPU noted.

The department added that Ukraine remains a top exporter of agricultural products and a guarantor of food security in the world.

In turn, the Ministry of Reconstruction added that such a figure became possible thanks to the combined efforts of the government, Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority, international partners and all workers of the port industry.
