Agents of the Russian FSB planned to install cameras in the port of Odesa
Under the instructions of the Russian special service, the traitors were supposed to install wireless cameras on the territory of the Odesa seaport.
In Odesa, an FSB agent group, which included two soldiers and their accomplice, was neutralized, the Security Service of Ukraine reports.
Agents systematically visited the regional center and its surrounding areas to establish the coordinates of the air defense system. In case of detection of “necessary” objects, they were secretly photographed and the corresponding geolocations were marked on Google maps.
Another of their tasks was the disguised installation of wireless magnetic cameras on the territory of the Odesa seaport.
A member of the FSB intelligence group and his accomplice were detained while they were photographing a military object. Another participant, a local resident, was apprehended in her own home after conducting reconnaissance near a potential target.
The SBU also carried out comprehensive measures to secure the locations of Ukrainian troops.
It should be noted that the defendants were informed of the suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 28, Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason committed by an organized group under martial law). They are currently in custody. They face life imprisonment.
