The Navy of the Ukrainian Armed Forces showed a video of tests of the “Hetman Ivan Mazepa” corvette

The Hetman Ivan Mazepa corvette, currently under construction for the Ukrainian Navy in Turkey, is undergoing sea trials.

The video of the tests was published by the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. So, on the footage, you can see how a corvette-class multi-purpose ship departs from the shore and heads for the open sea.

Currently, the team of the ship and the shipbuilding company, together with contractors, are checking the operation of all systems of the corvette, including how the equipment works in different modes and loads.

It is known that the final acceptance of the ship is carried out at state tests after checks and testing of all components, combat and technical means, equipment and the ship as a whole at factory tests. This may take a long time.

Note that at the beginning of June, according to the ship’s captain Volodymyr Uglinsky, the corvette was 70% ready. According to him, the future flagship of the Ukrainian Navy is being built ahead of schedule.
