The vessel, which was arrested for grain theft, remains in the port of Odesa

A foreign ship, which was arrested by Ukraine for cooperation with the Russian invaders, remains in the port of the Odesa region.

Currently, the vessel remains in the Ukrainian port. Dmytro Pletenchuk, spokesman for the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said this, Ukrinform reports.

According to him, the ship was detained in accordance with Ukrainian and international legislation, following the established procedure.

Pletenchuk noted that Ukraine had no other choice, because “you cannot violate the law”, cross the border and not bear any responsibility for it.

We will remind you that Ukraine detained a vessel on the Danube because of ties with the Russian Federation. The ship “Usko Mfu” entered Ukrainian waters after a voyage to occupied Sevastopol.

USM previously reported that the SBU detained the ship’s captain as well. He turned out to be a citizen of one of the countries of the South Caucasus. The crew also included 12 foreigners.
