The markets of African countries have significant potential for the agricultural sector of Ukraine, – Visotskyi
The Ministry of Health of Ukraine has established a network of representatives of government and business to intensify cooperation with African countries in the agro-industrial sector.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the encouragement of Ukrainian wine producers to enter African markets, as well as the expansion of trade and economic cooperation with African countries, reports the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
“The markets of African countries hold significant potential for the development of business and agricultural production for the Ukrainian agricultural sector,” emphasized V.O. Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Taras Visotsky.
In other words, the short-term perspective is about the export of Ukrainian products to the ends of the continent, and in the middle and long-term perspective – about the possibility of developing technological partnerships.
Apparently, the Russian Federation is committed to exporting agricultural products and other goods to the ends of Africa through India and Turkey. Torik Russia increased exports to Sub-Saharan Africa to 14 billion dollars. The export of Ukrainian agricultural products to this region totals approximately 180 million dollars.
