Russian and Chinese warships will conduct joint exercises as part of the largest Russian naval exercises since the USSR.
The Chinese Navy has joined the large-scale exercises of the Russian Federation “Ocean-2024”, which cover the actions of the Russian fleet from the Mediterranean Sea to the Pacific Ocean. This is reported by Reuters.
So, four ships of the Navy of the People’s Republic of China and a support vessel entered Peter the Great Bay in Vladivostok. There they participated in the exercises of the Russian fleet.
China’s Ministry of Defense notes that the purpose of the exercises is to strengthen strategic coordination between the Chinese and Russian militaries, as well as to increase their ability to jointly “respond to threats.”
