The UDS conducted an independent assessment of the company’s assets
In total, the assets of PJSC “Ukrainian Danube Shipping” were estimated at 154 million euros, including property registered to subsidiaries, offshore and foreign companies.
This was reported by the press service of the UDS.
Buildings, constructions, infrastructure and the fleet together were valued at UAH 6 billion, of which UAH 5.4 billion — only the company’s fleet and other vehicles. The UDS added that the price was the same as of January 1, 2023 (at the exchange rate of UAH 38.95 per euro).
“Some old employees of the company spread messages on social networks allegedly that there are no assets in the UDS. Everything has been removed somewhere, the fleet no longer belongs to the company. The results of the assessment confirm that all our assets are in place,” the UDS noted.
Paroplavstva added that the independent evaluation is a safeguard against attempts to illegally privatize the company’s assets.
USM previously reported that a foreign company damaged a UDS sea vessel.
