Corvette “Hetman Ivan Mazepa” went on sea trials (video)

The Navy of the Ukrainian Armed Forces showed a video of the sea trials of the “Hetman Ivan Mazepa” corvette.

In the video, you can see how the Hetman Ivan Mazepa ship undergoes sea trials.
In particular, as part of the tests, a torpedo was released from the corvette, and helicopter landing training was also conducted.
The first corvette of the Ada type was launched on October 2, 2022 in Turkey. Before that, in August, the ship was given the name “Hetman Ivan Mazepa”.
We will remind, the corvette for the Navy of Ukraine was built in Turkey. The contract for the construction of the ship was concluded by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine with Turkish companies in December 2020.
The hull of the “Hetman Ivan Mazepa” corvette is made of steel, which was produced even before the full-scale war at MMKI and “Azovsteel” of the “Metinvest” Group.
