ARMA handed over more than 400 arrested Russian wagons

The Agency for Search and Management of Assets (ARMA) signed a contract for the management of 434 railway cars.

A contract for the management of 434 wagons was signed with representatives of Financial and Industrial Company “Resursgroup” LLC, ARMA reported.

Earlier, the wagons were seized and used by Ukrzaliznytsia. According to UZ, in 2023 the wagons were not used for their intended purpose.

Wagons require technical inspection, repair and certification regarding their operation and intended use, which requires additional expenses from the manager. At the same time, the manager will provide income to the state budget in the amount of 85% of the profit received.

According to Igor Chuloy, director of the Asset Management Department of ARMA, the signing of this contract is an important step in the direction of increasing revenues to the state budget. He reminded that work is underway to select managers for the following lots: 17,799 wagons (which will be grouped by purpose), 2,604 wagons, 100 wagons.

Earlier, USM reported that ARMA has chosen a new manager for the arrested Russian vessels.
