ARMA has chosen an organizer for the sale of a Russian oil tanker
After an independent assessment, the arrested Russian tanker “Nika Spirit”, which blocked the Kerch Strait in 2018, will be put up for auction.
This was reported by the Agency for Tracing and Management of Assets.
Thus, on January 7, following the results of the meeting of the Competition Commission for the sale of arrested assets, the organizer of the auction for the arrested Russian oil tanker “Nika Spirit” was selected. The winner was LLC “Yu.BIZ”.
“The next step, the selected seller will ensure an independent assessment of the Russian tanker. After the assessment is completed, the asset will be put up for sale through the electronic system Prozorro.Sales. This will ensure maximum transparency and competitiveness of the process,” the message says.
ARMA emphasized that given the needs of the operational replenishment of the state budget in wartime, the agency decided to focus on the sale of such assets, and not on finding managers for them.
Currently, regarding the Russian tanker Nika Spirit, the National Agency received a decision of the Dniprovskyi District Court of Kyiv dated November 4, 2024 on its implementation and immediately began the process.
Recall that the tanker “Nika Spirit” (formerly “Neyma”) was arrested in July 2019 in the port of Izmail.
According to Equasis, it was identified as a vessel that blocked the Kerch Strait in November 2018. Then, Russian border guards seized Ukrainian warships with 24 crew members at gunpoint.
