Agroprosperis Group of Companies Acquires First Handysize

Last year, Agroprosperis purchased the first Handysize class vessel, which began transporting grain to foreign ports in January 2025.

The company purchased the vessel to improve the efficiency of maritime logistics, delo.ua writes

The Handysize class vessel called Agroprosperis 1 has a deadweight of 33.5 thousand tons. The company began transporting grain to foreign ports in January 2025.

In addition, Agroprosperis continues to expand the geography of grain exports. The main destination markets remain EU countries. However, this season the company exported agricultural products to Turkey, North Africa, and the countries of the Middle and Far East.

As previously reported by USM, at the end of January Ukraine exported the second Handysize with sunflower in the 2024/25 MY.
