Australia imposes sanctions against Sovcomflot board of directors

Members of the board of directors of Russia’s largest shipping company, Sovcomflot, have been added to Australia’s sanctions list.
This was reported by Business Censor with reference to the Australian Foreign Ministry.
The report states that the Australian Foreign Minister has legislated to identify individuals and organizations for targeted financial sanctions, which are subject to a travel ban in accordance with the Autonomous Sanctions Rules of 2011.
This time, Australia has added 37 individuals and 7 Russian organizations to the sanctions list.
In particular, members of the boards of Gazprom Neft, Gazprombank (GPB), Rushydro, and the Sovcomflot group of companies have been sanctioned.
Earlier, USM reported that Australia had for the first time banned vessels of the “shadow fleet” from entering its ports.
