The Ministry of Agriculture is working on an updated schedule for the supply of humanitarian agricultural products

Ukraine updates the food supply schedule within the Grain from Ukraine initiative.

This was reported by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

Minister of Agrarian Policy Vitalii Koval held a working meeting with the UN World Food Program team led by WFP Director in Ukraine Richard Reagan.

In particular, they discussed key areas of cooperation. Among them is the implementation of the Grain from Ukraine initiative of the President of Ukraine, which has provided food to more than 11 million people in 18 countries in Africa and Asia since 2022.

According to the minister, work is currently underway on the updated supply schedule for 2025.

“The focus of the conversation was also the preparation for the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2025). Together with Richard Reagan, we coordinated positions on the further involvement of WFP in the restoration of food systems in the affected regions of Ukraine. Special attention is paid to strengthening our cooperation within the framework of the new WFP Interim Strategic Plan for Ukraine for 2025–2027. Our goal is to use international support even more effectively and integrate Ukrainian farmers into global humanitarian chains,” said Vitalii Koval.

We remind you that as of the end of March 2025, more than 280 thousand tons of food were delivered within the framework of the initiative to countries facing an acute food crisis.

USM previously reported that the Grain from Ukraine initiative is planned to be expanded in 2025.
