Vysotskyi: The Ministry of Agriculture has raised over $45 million for programs to support temporary grain storage facilities

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy has collected a total of over $45 million for programs to support temporary grain storage facilities in sleeves.

This was stated by the Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine Taras Vysotskyi at the Agropotential 2027 forum in Ternopil, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

According to him, the main focus today is on the further development of all available export routes, including the unblocking of deep-water ports on the Black Sea.

“Until then, there are programs aimed at supporting the storage capabilities of harvested products. We at the Ministry of Agrarian Policy have already collected a total of over $45 million for programs to support temporary storage facilities in sleeves. Applications are accepted in the state agricultural register. That is, there is a plan to prevent product spoilage. While this product is stored, work continues to increase export opportunities, including with geopolitical partners,” Vysotskyi noted.

The minister also said that in September it was possible to export about 50% of the potential required volume, in August this figure was 33%.

Earlier, USM reported that Ukraine would not agree to permanent restrictions on agricultural exports after joining the EU.
