In the Odesa region, a company evaded taxes by almost UAH 5 million, — BEB

BEB detectives in the Odesa region have completed a pre-trial investigation into tax evasion.

This is a company specializing in growing grain crops, SBI reported.

The investigation found that the director of the enterprise, located in the Bolgrad district, in 2024 intentionally failed to declare income received from growing 5.6 thousand tons of wheat, with a total value of almost 26 million UAH.

During the investigative actions, the detectives established that the actual volume of products sold and the real income of the enterprise turned out to be significantly higher than indicated in the financial documentation. Such actions of the enterprise manager caused almost 4.7 million UAH in losses to the state budget, BEB reported.

The company director was reported on suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Part 1 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (intentional tax evasion).

During the pre-trial investigation, the exporter compensated the state budget for losses in the amount of UAH 4.7 million.
