Ukraine has exported over 8 million tons of grain since the beginning of the marketing year

Grain exports exceeded 8 million tons, but almost all items show a significant decline compared to last year.

Since the beginning of the 2025/26 MY, Ukraine has exported 8.29 million tons of grain and leguminous crops. This is said in the report of the State Customs Service.

The main share of exports is wheat — 5.82 million tons. However, this is 1.52 million tons (or 20.7%) less than the same period last year.

Corn export indicators fell even more significantly — to 1.27 million tons. This is 2.7 million tons (i.e. 68%) lower than in 2024.

Barley supply volumes amounted to only 1.03 thousand tons, which is 649 thousand tons (38.7%) less than last year.

Rye exports remained unchanged during the week — 0.2 thousand tons. This is 98.1% less than last year’s 10.6 thousand tons.

Flour shipments abroad amounted to 19.5 thousand tons, which is 3.8 thousand tons (16.3%) less than in annual terms.

The day before, USM reported that over 300 thousand tons of agricultural products had already been sent as part of the Grain from Ukraine humanitarian initiative.
