The Ministry of Development and Trade continues work on the concession project for the terminals of the port of Chornomorsk

The tender commission approved the draft instructions for applicants to participate in the tender for the concession of two terminals in the port of Chornomorsk.

The next meeting of the Tender Commission was held on Tuesday, November 11, the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine reported.

“During the meeting, the commission members approved the draft instructions for applicants to participate in the tender. The document defines the main requirements, rules of participation and the procedure for submitting applications. After a detailed discussion of the proposals of the advisors and commission members, the final version of the instructions was approved, which will become part of the tender documentation,” the ministry reported.

In addition, the commission considered and approved changes to the strategy for implementing and conducting the concession tender of the competitive dialogue. The updated strategy takes into account the proposals of the commission members and consultants involved by international financial organizations, and specifies the stages of further implementation of the project.

Recall, the President of the AMEU shared his opinion on the concession of the terminal in the port of Chornomorsk. Business believes that the project lacks transparency.

As previously reported by USM, the concession project included the First and Container Terminals of the port of Chornomorsk with six deep-water berths and all infrastructure. The tender for the concession was planned to be announced in early November.
